How can we put into action all available data about the (digital) learning process in children in such a way, that this learning process will speed up and be more fun. That was the question a high-tech start-up in tablet education asked LIME. Pupils do arithmetic and language exercises on a tablet running the client’s apps. This way the start-up generates a huge amount of data about the learning performance on its servers: a treasure trove of information that the client optimally wants to mobilize to help children and their teachers in the learning process.
By using psychometric models, LIME made it possible to automatically calibrate the level of all available exercises.
With our statistical expertise LIME could quickly start adapting these psychometric models to the client’s need. Thanks to Mathware it is now possible, on the basis of the exercises done in class, to objectively test a pupil’s knowledge and skills.
The start-up can effectively challenge the pupils with exercises that correspond to their level.
The teacher, furthermore, gets specific feedback on the knowledge and skills of both the group as a whole and the individual pupils. Mathware delivers uniqueness.
